Who we are

bytecraft.si is operated by ByteCraft, računalniško programiranje, d.o.o., Pod Srobotnikom 46, 8351 Straža, Slovenia (registration number 9680004000, VAT ID SI66213061). We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at [email protected]. We have no data protection officer; our size does not require one.

What this site does not do

This is a static business-card site: no user accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no comments. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, uses no tracking pixels and embeds no third-party widgets. Fonts, scripts and media come from our own domain, so a visit sends no requests to other companies' servers.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. For EU customers the provider is Google Ireland Limited; data may also be processed by Google LLC in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard contractual clauses. Google keeps standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and abuse prevention, for the period set by Google's terms. We do not receive or analyse them; we see only aggregate service dashboards. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you email us

If you write to [email protected], we process your email address, your name if given, and the content of your message, only to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, if your enquiry concerns a project, pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep the correspondence while it remains relevant, at most 2 years after the last message, unless a contract or legal obligation requires longer. Our email runs on Google Workspace, so the Google entities and safeguards above apply here too.

The optional sound clip

Double-clicking our logo plays a short spoken "hello", a static audio file served from our own domain. Playing it collects nothing and sends no data anywhere.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your personal data and for its rectification, erasure or restriction; object to processing based on our legitimate interests; and request portability of data you gave us. Write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovenian supervisory authority, Informacijski pooblaščenec (Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

Slovenian law governs this notice; the EU GDPR and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2) apply.

Changes to this notice

If the site starts doing anything new with personal data, we will update this notice and the date below. Visitors are not notified individually.
